At The Tomorrow Project we strive to create the perfect recipe for reshaping lives. We need your assistance to make this plan a reality. The Tomorrow Project is a work readiness-training program. We work with women who have had few opportunities in life, who are abused & prone to violence, abandoned by family, shattered by addiction and/or mental illnesses and have had spotty educations and poor job histories.
Through working with simple ingredients like beans and spices, these women assemble and sell delicious gourmet soups and gift baskets – giving them the basic skills necessary to build confidence and hope. Our goal is to give each woman the necessary skills to become self-reliant and to realize her potential to be a productive individual in our community. Each woman is paid a training stipend, which often is the first income she has ever earned. This small payment conveys a strong message – that both she and her efforts are valued.
As a Souper Sponsor, you join the TTP "family of socialpreneurs" that will be supporting one woman on her journey towards independence and self-reliance. These women need your help to continue learning valuable work skills like achieving quality assurance, following a directed process, and team work. We've had many success stories since we started in 1994:
